I been doing too much eating lately. Didn’t I just post about parking my car at another good restaurant? !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! This time it’s !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in Falls Church, VA for veggie pho between my office and picking my wife up at National Airport a.k.a. DCA a.k.a no I’m not going to call it motherfucking Reagan.
(Yes, of course the car next to me is a Subaru.)
OMG it is so good you guys!
This place has a whole big vegan menu, but there was a table of 6 old Vietnamese ladies having a lively conversation with six identical big soup bowls in front of them. I perused the choices but ultimately decided to have what they were having.
It was the right choice. Don’t make me blaspheme in here. Pho mah gawd.

Before Loving Hut was a thing here we had a place that was owned by some of the Supreme Leader’s followers. Best vegan food ever, but the place and people were weird as hell. They would have videos looping of her talking to various types of domesticated animals and her flyers were everywhere.
They ended up transitioning into a Loving Hut once that became a thing One thing I noticed that was weird is they stopped giving a shit about their hand soap once they switched. Went from using Tom’s of Maine (back when they were still Tom’s of Maine) to Dial, which tests on animals.

This Loving Hut is a slightly ratty mom ‘n pop place around the corner from a 7-11. Each faces a road at an intersection.

Pho is the ultimate comfort food. Though I prefer Pho Ga, personally.
And it’s Washington National to me -always will be :)

My experience with Pho is the rattier the better. We have a very good Vietnamese place in Phoenix located in murderville . It’s called Da Vang. Looks pretty much exactly like that Chinese place you posted about yesterday. Huge open room with bright incandescent lights. Cafeteria chic. The food is extremely cheap and extremely good.
